You're not sure whose party this is or why you're invited, but the invitation came, and you weren't doing anything else.
An old-school, minimalist puzzlebox text adventure, designed to feel like a type-in text adventure without the typing - commands are given via context-sensitive buttons.
The Party Line was originally made for the AdventureX Jam 2020. In 2021 it was rewritten in Gruescript, a tool I've made for making this kind of point-and-click text adventure game. The source code is available from the "Examples" menu in the Gruescript editor.

Many thanks for this - I managed to crack all the other puzzles but the popcorn machine had me thorough, thoroughly stuck!
